Mit seinem unverkennbaren, leicht bitterem Geschmack ist er vielseitig in der K\u00fcche verwendbar. Er wird ca. 40 cm hoch und w\u00e4chst gern im angenehm warmen Klima auf steinigem Boden.<\/p>\n<p>In der Naturmedizin ist die Pflanze, mit seinen antibakteriellen und entz\u00fcndungshemmenden Eigenschaften sehr bekannt. Sie wird u.a. bei Erk\u00e4ltungskrankheiten, Husten, Bronchitis und Darmbeschwerden verwendet. Meist wird ein Tee zubereitet, aber auch ein Kopfdampfbad ist sehr wohltuend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wirkungen von Thymian:<\/strong><br \/>\nantibakteriell, teilweise antiviral, pilzhemmend, entz\u00fcndungshemmend, krampfl\u00f6send, hustenreizlindernd, schleiml\u00f6send, auswurff\u00f6rdernd, verdauungsf\u00f6rdernd, appetitanregend, immunstimulierend<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inhaltsstoffe:<\/strong> \u00e4therische \u00d6l mit dem Hauptbestandteil Thymol, Cymol und Carvacrol.
